County Longford Golf Club which was founded in 1894 and has been warmly welcoming visitors ever since. The Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Longford Town on the old Dublin Road (the R393) and is a little over an hour from Dublin.

The course, which was totally redesigned in May 2005, is now one of the finest mature parkland courses in Ireland with mature trees and many water features. The course is over 6700 yards in length (measured from tee to flag!) and has a par of 72. Whilst the 18th is the par 5 signature hole where your approach to the green is over water, there are many other memorable holes – such as the 12th where again there is a water feature to the right of the green.

Overlooking Longford, the course enjoys spectacular panoramic views over the town and the surrounding countryside. Trolley and buggy hire is available and the pro shop is fully stocked. Also, the fine clubhouse has an excellent bar and restaurant. Golf lessons are available from the Club Professional.Come and visit us. All are welcome. You are guaranteed a warm welcome and hopefully what will be a memorable round of golf.
