Established in 1929, Callan Golf Club is located 1 mile from Callan on the Knocktopher Road and just 12 miles from Kilkenny. This mature 18 hole parkland course features well placed spinneys, bunkers and hazards,with water featuring on 8 of the holes,and has a justifiable and well earned reputation for the high standard of presentation and upkeep of both fairways and greens.
The course distance is 6367 yards from the blue markers, 6099 years from the men's tees and 5437 yards from the ladies tees.
Callan Golf Club is a hugely popular course for many groups and societies and visitors are welcome all year round including weekends, discounts are available for groups of 20 or more.
Clubhouse facilities include a bar and dining room serving snacks, lunch and dinner.
